Dream Come True !

April 12, 2011 MY DREAM CAME TRUE! I SAW THE GOD!

I SAW SACHIN TENDULKAR BATTING LIVE IN THE STADIUM!

Watching Sachin Tendulkar playing cricket, will be a dream of any cricket fan, it was mine too.

But due to one or other reasons, it didn't happen, lately I stopped watching cricket, it became difficult to watch cricket ball by ball, because of my 3-yrs old kid. Under theses circumstances, we booked a ticket for an IPL match where we just need to spend 4-6hrs in the stadium, some how everything got into place, expect the ticket price it was 1100 per head. After a big dilemma, we went for it.

Money+ time+ place got fixed.

Tickets arrived just 2-days before the match, along with its own huddles, at home mom-in-law health was not fine, in office appraisal stared just a day before the match. Alas! I thought, this time we wont make it. But GOD heard his devotee, and the day have come. Dhak-dhak!!!

APRIL12, 2011 sharp by 6.45 pm I was in the stadium entrance (I am a slow walker but yesterday I was passing through the crowd, ahead of my husband, once tortoise won over the rabbit). Everybody was dressed in red to support the local team, Bangalore Royal Challengers (RCB).  Once inside the stadium we found a good seat with a good view. Both the teams were practicing, Royal challengers and Mumbai Indians. Luckily Sachin and his boys were practicing near our stand. The crowd was mad, irrespective of the team they support, all were shouting at the top of their voice...SACHIN-SACHIN-SACHIN...we didn't stop until the GOD turned back and waved to us.

I realized one thing there. If one is committed to what he does, fame and success will come to him. How many true fans he has got, who are shelling out their money and come to see him in action, at least once.  In contrast these cheap politicians buy people support by pouring money and gift to them.

The Match stated, Sachin won the toss and elected to field first, first ball Malinga bowled out ..... It was a sight to watch! The entire stadium aroused! The cheer was sheering through the ears!

Cheer girls, fire-crackers added to the celebration. It was a moment to be remembered in ones life. We gulped doubled-up priced junk-foods, thank God the water was not price tagged. 

The RCB scored up, 140 runs, and MI stared to bat.

The GOD tied his leg pad and took this bat as sword and came to the pitch as a worrier.  It was sight to cherish. Sachin scored 50 odd runs and remind as not out. I watched him to my heart content and cheered to my fullest. My dream came true.

Salute to his commitment in every game he shows up. To prove to whom, is he playing his best in every game? Everyone knows he his GOD! I realized what my father used to say to me “Be true to your conscious” “Dedication to work is worship to God” may be Sachin Tendulkar is an example to it.
